Welcome to the Washington DC Chapter of TiE (TiE-DC), one of Washington's largest business networking organizations, dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. TiE stands for "The Innovative Ecosystem" and is a not-for-profit global network of entrepreneurs and professionals. TiE-DC was founded by Reggie Aggarwal and Sanju Bansal in 1997. In 2000, the organization merged with TiE because of our common foundation of entrepreneurship. TiE-DC is dedicated to supporting the community of entrepreneurs in the Mid-Atlantic region through networking, mentoring, and education.

TiE is an open and inclusive organization that has rapidly grown to more than forty chapters in nine countries, with over 10,000 members. TiE endeavors to cultivate and nurture the ecosystems of entrepreneurship and free-market economies everywhere, as it sees this as the single most powerful instrument of prosperity.

TiE-DC engages entrepreneurs and senior executives throughout the Mid-Atlantic region primarily through focused networking events and business conferences. We regularly host events that are open to entrepreneurs across the region, as well as exclusive events that are by invitation only.
